Beadon Street Head Post Office

I was here for passport verification. Remember this is the POPSK beadon Street as shown on passport seva website, and it is head post office not sub post office as shown on Google maps. The service is good and fast because few people are given appointment here. I reported at 9.30 and things were over by 11.30. All services are at one place. But only problem is that the documents demanded by the officers do not often tally with those enlisted on the website. So its better to bring all originals to avoid harassment.

A local post office with a genuine gesture to help people.. I went there to collect my reissued passport which I missed to receive at home. Reaching there I found that it was again sent to my home. These people were so helpful that they tracked the postman arranging him to drop it again at my place according to my convenience. The postman, I don’t know his name, was so helpful that he came twice in the same day to deliver it in my hand. I am really thankful to them.

I visited the passport seva kendra located inside this Post office. Not sure about the Post office services but PSK service was good. Didn’t take much time to finish the work. It’s located on the opposite of Latubabu lane.

As government bodies like post offices go about their day-to-day routine, this post office is nothing out of the box. Same old long queue for getting a simple work done. Employees are slow in their tasks and sometimes are reluctant to help the customers. But as it is a Head Post Office so more work gets done here relatively as compared to other smaller post offices.

This place is very good for the passport service. It is 5 min walking distance from central Avenue beadon street bus stop.

Very bad behaviour. You will have a bad day after visiting this passport office. So be ready for that.

Employment here are having some ego issue and they are very arrogant in nature. As if they are running the whole universe, they dont listen to your problems.

Passport seva service:
Reached at 10 am as advised. The staff were inside closed door while all people had to wait in rain outside. The work started at 10.45 am. All documents had to be xeroxed again from their chosen shop. The main lady reached at 11.45 but started work only at 12.05 pm as she became busy with her personal activities like charging her mobile etc. The lady was rough and require to learn how to behave with people she is supposed to serve. Overall a job of 15 min took more than 2 hours in addition to standing outside waiting.
Very bad experience. If possible avoid going there.
