General Post Office

This is the main post office in Dehradun and here you can speed post 24 hr. The employee here is also very gentle. Your work is done very simply. So you can take advantage of it.

One of the poorest service. Employees are as usual like government attitude. (Like they are saying we are getting salary from Government, we don’t care about public). Very unfriendly staff. One of the rudest staff in the city. Guards and watchmen are so kind and supportive with friendly behavior. I went their just to update my phone number in Aadhaar Card, as I entered the Aadhaar office they rudely send me out from the office. I was just trying to consult about phone number change but before I said a single word they kicked me out from there not only me but everybody who came there too. They even don’t have any consultant counter, where they can resolve the small small queries. People are waiting for hours some people waiting since 7’O clock morning to 1’O clock afternoon. Waiting area is good. We really hate Indian Government who still can’t manage their employees except managing there salaries which is coming from the pocket of people of India. Shame to Post Office, there employees and Indian Government.

One more thing which is so strange that if you are having Car or 4 wheeler then be careful. They have lots of place as I attached pics but you can’t park the Car. That means park your vehicle ar road side at your own risk. Where anytime your vehicle can be toed by Police van.

Being the head of all the post offices in Uttarakhand Circle, they provides the best services from their end. The staff is good and are ready to help you with the best possible...

A lot of space and people who are working there. So it's easy to use any of the service they provide. It's the only one post office where they pack the parcels so you don't have to go here and there. Also waiting period is less so I would suggest to go there. Nice staff and behaviour of the staff was pretty good and friendly.

Good post office. Speed post done upto 1030pm.

Well many of the staff members are not that good with the customers. Some are taking their lunch time before 1:30 while some of them are working until the queue is completed. The cooperation between the staff isn't that good as some are too selfish.

There is all 6 counter are empty
No one there for attented the public
There are only one female staff in counter no 10

I am also standing for 40mins in front of counter no.12 but no. One came .

Don't no how much more time they take their lunch

I request to branch manager plz cordinate the satff beacuse people's are facing lots of trouble
