Post Office, Velachery

I was expecting a speed post but was shocked when I saw the status as delivered which we have not received. I went to the post office the next day morning. Staffs were at least polite and helpful. And informed me that the regular postman was on leave and it must be some mistake by the temporary postman. One person immediately called that temporary postman, searched and found that parcel in office and handed it over to me after showing my ID proof. My work was done in less than 10 mins. 4 stars for false delivery status and making me come to the post office but at same time considering the helpfull nature of the staffs working there.

Staff are very helpful, particularly there are some new young postmen who are awesome and helped me setup the digital account in IPPB mobile app. Infrastructure needs lot of improvement for staff to work more efficiently. Government should take care of this.

I went to the post office to link mobile number with aathar, it was done in a hour.

In previous i visited madipakkam,kovilambakkam post offices but they denied to link aathar and mobile number due to some fake reasons.

3rd class....they will never answer to our call.
And delay in delivering

I saw few amazing people here who were very kind and always ready to help. Mr. Loganathan is one of such beautiful person whom I have met and resolved my queries, He was so down to earth and respectful.
5 stars just for him.

Visited the place quite a number of times till date in terms of sending parcel and found out that the place remains crowded almost everytime. Stuffs are helpful and polite and don't waste your time and they are prompt in getting the job done.
I Would recommend this place.

Too much crowd. Always very long que. Only 2 counters. Very congested.
Dear post master please increase counters otherwise it very horrible to do banking in Velachery post office

Only 2 staff are working, fully crowded very very slow service the worst post office I have seen. Staff is very slow, no body is wearing mask. In government office if this is the scenario how can we trust anyone else. Pathetic service today only one staff is working now and moreover she is also taking breaks on between, people have to wait for almost 1 hour to get a small work done. Total waste of time
