Speed post parcel sent reached next day. They give promised service. Excelent.

Typical government office. Worst service. For a simple term deposit closure you will have to wait a minimum of 3 hours. Once you open an account in Post Office.. you cannot transfer it to other branch..! What is the purpose of computerisation? Also they insist that the account holder should come in person for the closure..! Of course, surprisingly they are not insisting this at the time of opening a deposit account..!! You may get a slightly lower interest elsewhere.. But do not go to GPO Chennai.

I went for parcel service. The parcel office is on ground floor I asked them to send my parcel. Firstly they rejected my packing stating they want clothes cover when I aske where I will get they told go to first floor. My age is 65+ and being asthma patients I cannot go to first floor. They won't listen to anyone and no one is ready to help. If any of PO government official reading this you should be ashamed of your job. Ask your people to treat customer with at most respect. Also change your attitude. All people are useless. Then I went to professional courier which is near to your branch. They helped me with at most respect and ready to send in own packing. BSNL is about to shut down and no doubt you will be next.
