Post Office Virugambakkam

Hard to locate this place as the building itself is small and the post office is located on the first floor. Plus we have the parking issues here. But staff are friendly and work gets attended soon enough.

Good service for normal
Post.

Do not expect same service for other things like parcel and money.

Staff is not trained enough to handle anything else other than normal post things.

Very poor service. Some of the staffs are not trained and not professional. Depositing money is a tedious and difficult job in my case. Very bitter experience.

Such a cordial behavior.so much of patience and understanding they attend people.

Facility in 2nd floor, difficult for elders to climb up.

First floor post office .

Surprised to see none of their employees wearing masks at the post office. Being a government organization they have to be more responsible and set an example for the general public.

Also sending a parcel through them is a nightmare. They have so many arbitrary rules on what is allowed and what is not. I get frustrated everytime and end up sending the parcel through a private courier.

Surprisingly employees are friendly in this Post Office which is not common in most of the Govt. Offices.
