This is Alwarthirunagar post office but located in Valasarvakkam near Kesavardhini junction. Office is in first floor. No lift. No exclusive parking. But staff are efficient and fast (as on date).

Located next complex to McDonald's towards porur. Poorly visible. On first floor.

I have visited Valasarawakkam post office by 1.20PM they said lunch time from 1 to 1.30 pm, again came back @ 2.10pm, now they said it's closed at 2.00pm come back tomorrow. If this is the service they provide no one will come to post office.

A very courteous government office... was literally surprised by the quality of service, couldn't believe I'm in a government office. Wonderful and compassionate staff, treated the customers politely, rarely does that happen in a government office. Good to see the courteous and polite attitude of the staff there. Please keep up the good work

Worst Staff( parcel guy).Very bad experience. I said it's gift items pop it,hair accessories.Still Parcel booking guy asked to open the gift items, which was properly wrapped.Even I opened the box and showed the wrapped gift items. He asked to tear it again, then I teared the gift covers.

He told always comes with scissors and cello tape and show all items to me before packing. I request to scan the box. He told that facility not available, you need to go Virugambakkam post office.

Finally with help of good hearted neighborhood, I got the cello tape again and packed box but with teared cover of gift items.

It's better to close this! Often, they redirect to Another post office!
