This place also have passport office. But the work is very slow here. The work here is not systematic like bhopal. And i think that as this is a historic monument then it should not use as a office they should convert it like a museum anf for post offuce this they should build an other structure. But our government or nagar nigam do not like to do good think. Just they know how to make the historic building as a scrap

Very nice place passport office is also present in the building, building is renovated in aprail 2019 to give its urban look again..!!!

Gwalior biggest post office is this. Situated at Maharaj Bada or Jiwaji Chowk, some of those are Sarafa Bazaar, Topi Bazaar, Subhash Market named after Subhash Chandra Bose, Nazarbagh Market, Gandhi Market, Daulat Ganj, Victoria Market, an old major stationary, books and Garments market, located at Bada, caught fire in June 2010, which also collapsed one portion of the historical Market building. There is a beautiful garden at large chowk, having statue of Maharaj Jiyaji Rao, in the centre of it.

One of the best and the oldest post office of Gwalior Region. Almost each and every service of Postal Dept can be utilized from here. Staff is highly educated and Well experienced.

Visited the passport office here. They are just somehow managing here and have a very stringent document verification process.
