Farook College post office has a cute little period building. The post office is part of the township of Farook College. Farook College is one of the biggest campuses of north Kerala. This is a township containing nine big educational organizations and a small number of other minor organizations. Farook College is a federally accredited autonomous college. There are other organizations providing courses like MBA, MCA and M.Ed. There are three restaurants and several cool bars in the little township which is also called Farook College. Buses are available to Calicut city and the nearby Ramanattukara town. Lodges are available onlly at Ramanattukara. There is a five star hotel at Kadavu riverside.
