Worst Service Ever Experienced

I used the WorldNet Express (WNX) service to send parcel to Qatar on 15th July, 2014. After 2 days of tracking using SMS tracking & Call tracking, I was getting "Invalid Airwaybill Number" status for almost 1 week. So I contacted the Head Post Office Alappuzha and got information that the "Statutory declaration" was missing, so they have hold down the parcel at Cochin. Neither did they ask me to provide a declaration at the Post Office, nor informed me that my parcel was hold down. Now its almost 10 days and still its not delivered. I'm wondering why I opted the Express service, I could have gone for the normal parcel service.

I have worst experience with your postal delivery . I don't know your peoples doing to everyone like this.i am a subscriber of some religious publications (Weekly), Last two months your man never deliver this weekly to my address . I have given a written letter to the past master Vandanam post office mentioning my address .

I hope this will be noticed by postal authority and hope I will get my postal items in time..

National waste Service.

Sent two parcels to New Zealand on 29 January 2015. As at 10 March neither parcel has arrived! Previous parcels sent from Udaipur arrived within 2 weeks -amazing service.

Recommend don't send mail from Alapphzha Post office if you want your mail to arrive in your home country.

Unfortunately there is very little you can do once you arrive home to try and get your package.

One of the oldest post office in Kerala. You may see some historical value inside.
Alappuzha was one of the business centre of Kerala as the water transport was a common travel method adopted very early. Now majority is not in practice. So the reason, post office started very early to pass communication

Unlike before post office works like a finance bank too. You can open accounts and carry over some of your financial needs with their plans. Majority is future concerns.

Staff is good and able. Majority case and as this is head post office, the rush will be high. But they well practice COVID protocol. So there will be delay.

Leave apart finance, their main agenda to support the postal communication is also well managed. My courier and letters have got good response and fast reach.

Overall a suggested place for postal and small finanace.

The staff here are very nice and helpfull. Very neatly managed and placid area. This Post Office was the first post office established in Kerala. It also has a special cancellation which is applied to letters and postcards. You can get one upon request. It also has a Philatelic counter where you can buy new stamp issues of India.

This review is for awareness of those customers whom are sending parcels and couriers on regular basis. Please check the weight of your package before sending from here because there is no display screen available to show parcel weight at parcel desk. I experienced excess weight of 600 gms when i weighed my parcel here. When i asked about it they said it is correct. I placed the complaint about it and it is under process.

They will not pic any call.
Giving misleading advices.
Intentionally try to distroy this department.
Utterly poor service by the staff.
