Thrikkakara Post office

Like any other India Post outlet the place is dull, untidy and stuffy. The Post Office - housed in a single story rustic building - is hard to find. You won't be able to spot it from the main road as it is situated a bit off from the main lane, inside NPOL premises - fenced by huge walls - behind the very small so called NPOL Park. The building is situated in shades of a huge Raintree.

Good service and professional staffs.

Staffs are very rude and have attitude problem. They themselves are fighting and have ego issues.

They impose strict rules on women and students. They always ask women to tear and open the packet, but won't even provide a cello tape to repack it.

Whereas they allows all parcels provided by men. No questions asked. No rules apply there. I have seen them allowing 1 chocolate courier and 1 electronics equipment without any checks.

Visited today, to send a speed post. Got done fast. Didn't face any issues with parking the vehicle. There is a huge space infront of the Post office to park 2 wheelers. Cars are not allowed to enter. Staffs were very helpful. All covid precautions are taken. Today when I went there, the place was clean and tidy. I had a good experience from there. Note: please carry change (1 & 2 rupees) with you while you visit there.

This is a good post office with all basic services including speed post. It works is an old building which is difficult to locate from the main road.

Worst post office . Worst service . They will not deliver the consignment on time. Worst officials .
