The staff at this post office is highly efficient and helpful especially the person who does the parcel booking. But there is something very strange about the lady who is the over all incharge of the post office. During the peek hours of booking for the festive season of Diwali she replaces a very efficient and quick staff with a new staff who has no clue what she is doing and unnecessary delays are caused and serpentine queues with disgruntled customers. Repeated request to the lady in charge not only falls on deaf ears she does not even respond when you speak to her. Is it arrogance of working in an government office or is it some alliance to help the new DTDC office that just opened in front of the post office. Kindly replace the efficient person who does the booking atleast during rush hours . Customers are not Guinea pigs with spare time to train office staff with patience. Kindly look into the matter and if possible do the needful to keep efficient staff or two counters during rush hours

The post office still operate on CASH. They do not accept any form of digital transactions. Even when you need to pay import duty for a package they expect you to hand them cash no matter the amont. If you ever need to collect your parcels with payment. Do carry cash or you'll be looking for Atms for a while.

Went for a speed post, hassle free experience. They don't accept digital payment. So make sure to have cash with appropriate change.

Poor poor and only poor service - government should handover this center to “private” hands.
Even after reading this post and seeing rating of this post office still if you are going here then it’s purely your fault (like I did mistake).
Staff, mainly head post officer is rude. No one is helpful and damm slow in work. They don’t respect your time or they don’t think that you’re customer and giving them job.

“Before taking any service from here just go there and you’ll see aged people also standing in queue for hours with a simple form in hand and they are slow and rude with them also.” Then take your call.

Go to bank for any banking related services but not here until it’s not emergency for you or you’re ready to accept this worst service.

5-6 years back somehow this was a okay place but now it shows true face of what we all r listening about “govt office”. Poor service and very poor behaviour with customers especially when you ask questions or stuck somewhere then you will see there “zero help policy”. Head of this post office is also non cooperative, and acts as a VVIP when u need his support or services. Even to say you YES/NO, he will ask to wait. Go to bank but not here.
