Head Post Office Port Blair

The delivery system needs to be checked. Now that lockdown is over and businesses are running normal, the doorstep delivery should be started. In case of Port Blair India post services, they delivery man gives a call from Main Post Office stating that the package is more than medium size so he cannot carry on his bike. It is pertinent to mention that the sender has paid in full for delivery to the destination. However here the post gets delivered based on size. If small it will cone to you, if above medium size, you will have to go and collect it yourself.

Never opens at right time (09:00 AM) so u can come half an hour late in the morning

Post office not crowded n felt free in depositing cash with polite n friendly customer care.

Worst experience.... need privatisation in this sector too.
Counter was unattended for the long period.
They do not accept parcel after 3 pm

At the parcel/courier area, the staffs are so indisciplined that they don't even know how to behave with their customers. They talk very rudely and reply to your questions after you ask twice.

Worst delivery system ever They don't deliver packages and do not even contact the customer to receive the package from the office they just directly return the item.

After 20 days matured of nsc still not get cheque or cash. The post master misbehaving. Is it govt office or his home? Very worst post office
