Behala Police Station

Behala Woman Police Station is the only police station to deal with the woman related cases and legal disputes under South West Division of Kolkata Police Force. It works for all Police Stations under the jurisdiction of South West Division i.e. Behala, Sarsuna, Haridevpur, Thakurpukur, Taratal and Parnasree.

Location is very good. Polite and helpful staffs. But, have heard about many traffic police related cases where people were putting allegations on traffic police of this police station.

Very nice cooperation from this PS. Every person is really humble & good human being. We are so pleased... Thank you so much.

Behala Thana has made many improvements than before. Their focus is now on everyone who wants to make a mess. They caught me a little earlier because I was taking pictures of the police station. And it shows their activities.Its impressive.Just lost a phone last year that they haven't found yet so need a little improvement.

Mr Prosenjit Poddar.my bike was sieged without any ignition key which is a offence of theft and no carry charge was provided to the owner.proper document not given to the one who was driving the bike.and after siege bike was not properly kept in malkhana.so i would rate 1 out of 5 stars.moreover i also know it dosent matter to the p.s. regarding their duty towards normal citizen.

I visited the Behala Police station on 19th Feb 2022, to lodge a complaint against a local fraudulent Medical Shop, Dipti Medical at Manton. Both Duty Officers (both gentlemen co-incidentally named Mr. Debashish Chakrabroty), were extremely patient with me and helped me by immediately calling the rude Shop owner to the police station. Further they gave him firm instructions to resolve my issue with his product within 2 days or they would take necessary strict actions. Such prompt yet calm resolution of public grievances is something that our society lacks and urgently needs. Cheers to both officers Mr. Debashish Chakrabroty and Mr. Debashish Chakrabroty. Thank you dear Sirs. My sincerest gratitude for your service to the society.

An inspector named Sanjib put his hands on one of my friend out of nowhere when he was only speaking to him in a respectful manner and he was doing intoxication in his own premise. He's adult too. How dare did the person without any uniform put his hand on my friend? Is this how they serve us? Is this the way to make someone understand what is right and wrong? Be civilized first.

The most worst police station i have ever seen.. They only know how to trouble common people. Low quality of work... !! A big shame in the name of police.. !!
