It's a barrack for the Police personnel of two divisions and the Traffic Guard of Kolkata Police. Generally the constables are accommodated here to be utilized and mobilized in emergency situations. Mostly who doesn't have any Government quarters or don't have residences near by stay at this barrack. There is also a mess for them for tiffin, lunch and dinner. The ambience is good and also the arrangements are also satisfactory.
