This is one of the best police station in Kolkata. Their force is very active. They always help victims. There is photocopy cetre and cabteen also. I have baught some A4 sheets once. Their canteen foods are also very tasty. You can easily ladge any complaint as they are very helpful.

Best Police Station in the locality!! Honest Police Staff, Helpful Officers and believe me they will guide you in every step if they find you are honest!

Has an attached Xerox Center and Canteen. You can buy A4 sheets and have snacks if you ever need to come to this police station.

This police station is quite large in area and the environment is very peaceful

4th May 2022 : It's a busy police station active 24 x 7. An outside tea-stall besides "Amherst Street Woman Police Station" and a water cooler attract students from City College in the premises frequently. This police station also has a canteen facility where quality veg and non-veg meals are available at a very affordable price in meal-system. The housings around are mainly police quarters. There's also a temple. 🙏

The police officers and the staff are very friendly and very kind and very helpful to all people. They are very good advisors too. They show us the right path which leads us to peace and happiness and thus ending all disputes and quarrels.They are truly the peace makers of our city. We salute their efforts and efficiency to solve all our problems.

Amherst Street is a north–south street in Central Kolkata in the Indian state of West Bengal. The street was named after William Amherst, 1st Earl Amherst. It has been renamed as Raja Rammohan Roy Sarani after Raja Rammohan Roy, one of the most famous social-reformers of India.[1] The road starts from Vivekananda Road crossing (Chaltabagan, Maniktala) and extends up to Bepin Behari Ganguly Street crossing (Lebutala, Bowbazar) via MG Road crossing and Surya Sen Street crossing. On the extreme north lies Raja Rammohan Roy Memorial Museum and on the extreme south lies the Bank of India (Bowbazar).[
