Filed an online petition in August 2020 and received a call from the Moinabad police station in October 2020. We went to Moinabad police station to file a criminal FIR for fraud and embezzlement of funds done by a local real estate owner under a benami name who closed their office after collecting funds and absconded. SI was helpful, looked at my documentation thoroughly and let us talk to circle inspector Anjaiah.. This circle inspector did not even look at the detailed proof documents, said blankly that it is a civil court case even though there is more than sufficient evidence to prove that the real estate firm wrote a agreement for sale with me, absconded with my funds and registered that property to another person. Circle Inspector refused to file a FIR and sent us away rudely. We are having better results from a circle inspector in a different police station with exactly the same documentation.
