Alert police staff, history of Kotwali building- this historical building came in to existence in 1636 material used for construction were stones from Jodhpur & Udaipur & workmen from Rajastan , known as Kotwali because shrikant take Bhosale had his court & Aries room for delivering justice in this place here in charge known as Kotwali used to keep them in lock up& because of office of Kotwal in those days place became famous as Kotwali.This entire place was known as Bakabai Wada who was 3rd wife of shrikant Raje Bhosale .
