TOWN HALL GROUND

One of the finest places in Burdwan for spending quality time with Friends and Family and for children too. Burdwan towns' public auditorium located near the Curzon Gate. It holds all sorts of public gatherings & social festivals. The hall is old, structured in the style of the 19th century architecture. The park is huge, well decorated popular for the morning & evening strollers.

The Town Hall was built sometime between 1890 and 1894 and was handed to the Municipality of Bardhaman to help them preserve the remnants of Lala Bansogopal Nandey.
The municipality board restored the hall in 1990 to its present form of 2400 square feet from its earlier form of 704 square feet with a seating capacity of 485 seats.

Best place for every age person. The stage is very helpful for any type of program, it's so big that a huge crowd can easily stay there. Students can go and enjoy, a little park is also available for children.

Atmosphere of the place is very amazing. People come here for refreshing their minds.The ground is about 1.5 KM away from Bardhaman railway station. Very nice place to visit.
