Kadmi Atash Bahram houses the highest cadre of Holy Fire for the followers of Parsi religion & is one of the 8 such Atash Bahrams in India & is nearly two centuries old. The Fire Temple is a place of worship for the Parsis where followers of the Zoarashtrian religion are allowed to go in.
But this Fire Temple has a central open space for events like Navjotes & Marriages can take place, with a pillared hall, towards the South. The main Fire Temple is to the East of this central open space. People of all religions gather as invitees in this central open space, during such functions.
If you're a Surti with Parsi friends then be sure that you will be invited here to witness happy family events that take place here.

Atash Bahram is the name given to the highest grade of fire and the temple that houses the Atash Bahram and are usually under the care of Dasturjis, Parsi high priests.

Out of the nine Atash Bahrams in the world, eight are in India (one in Iran) and Modi Atash Bahram (Shenshai) is in Surat. It was consecrated in the year 1823. A beautifully constructed fire temple, it is visually beautiful from the outside however since only Parsis are allowed inside the fire temple I could not venture into it.

Parking is a major problem at this place else it is well maintained ever since it was opened for worship.

A very holy place for pilgrims of the Zoroastrian religion.

Entry is restricted to Zoroastrians only.

The Shahenshahi Atash Behram is also walking distance from here.

The Goti Adarian is 10 min drive from here (traffic depending). That is also a wonderful place for Zarthustis to pray.
