One of the famous temple of kerala which is next to coastal line. Lot of people visit this temple throughout the year. It's famous for Manikett (a small bell which is tied to peepal's tree which is next to the temple. It is known that if a devotee ties the bell consecutively for 7 times in a row his dream will be full filled by the goddess(Manakkattu Devi).) The goddess Bhuvaneswari devi is considered to be very power full.

Temple with great ambiance. Proximity of beach adds beauty to the temple.

Beautiful temple. With good serene environment. The custom of tying bell in the banyan tree with a wish is really worth performing. It comes with just 30 rs per bell and the temple authorities are not at all money oriented and bell behaved. They are really co-operative and there is free food as part of temple. There is a boat service to reach the temple from the road side. The odol is really beautiful and well adorned. Worth visiting at least once in lifetime
