Railway Station West Parking Area

Situated at the western side of the railway station . Unlike the eastern side parking area There is amble space for the vehicle to park . But no roof to protect your vehicle. It's too difficult to reach their, if you come from the eastern side and too much trafic . If you have fair amount of time , better prefer this area to park. Otherwise choose the eastern side .

Used to be a nice parking place. Staff is good and try hard to manage the number of vehicles. Now the place is going to dogs because of so called beautification . It is very hard to even drive because of a median constructed making the drive way too narrow. I think people in charge of construction are brain dead

It used to be a large parking lot with plenty of space. However, after the so called "beautification", it has become difficult to drive and park here. The lot is 3/4 filled up, even at 5.30 AM, and by 7.30 AM, it's by sheer luck that one can find a space! Moreover, it's not a covered area, and one's vehicle is exposed to the sun, rain and dust. The crowded space is exacerbated by the initiation of the "Premium Parking" at the main entrance. The rates seems to be high, due to the fact that there is no protection offered to the vehicle, and because it's exposed to the elements.

It's a parking lot with no roof. Vehicle at owners risk even though the fee is bit high. Pls do not Park under the shades of a tree instead because you cannot even find out your can from the heaps of bird droppings once you back especially during night. Opens 24 hours. Very much accessible to the back entry of the station to platform no 3/4. Usually full.

Parking time more than 3 hours is encouraged, lots of space for bikes and cars. Separate parking area for bikes and four wheelers. We can enter into platform 2 and 3 directly from west entrance and for platform 1 use over bridge.

Rate here is ₹60 upto 12hours and ₹120 upto 24hours. It's a good parking space, we can enter railway station through the stair bridge which connects the three platforms. The security there is doubtful and no shed it is a plain area.
