This place is just awesome for the person who wants to enjoy the serenity and untouched beauty of the mountain. The silence and reflection of kanchanjunga into the lake will take your breath away. Hiking is the best option to visit this place.

Lake at an height of 7000 feet surrounded by forest having red pandas and different varieties of birds and flowers.
Local belief is that if one wish anything there by placing stones alongside the lake their wish may come true. So it os also kniwn as wishing lake.

Mulkharka, it is located practically in West Bengal but one has to reach via Sikkim. Little costly to visit this place. And should have passion for nature. Every year lots of tourists visit this place. What is the importance of this lake? One can witness the shadow of Kanchenjunga in this lake. Due to fog we couldn't capture that pic.The stones are arranged in this way by the visitors to fulfill their wishes from God of lake.Govt tourists guest house,in pic, is also there. Baki search in google.

Beautiful pristine natural lake yet to be vandalised by over decorations for tourism hope it stays this beautiful. Mostly visited by locals for sacred value. The lake offers a glamorous vision of Kanchenjunga too!

An amazing place to visit. It is marvelous to view the reflection of Kanchenjunga peak in the lake water. A beautiful natural wide green field is there which can be used by trekkers as base camp before starting trek to Rachela Peak. But a little bit upset with Google Map as it wrongly shows the area falls under Sikkim whereas it actually falls under Lingsey GP of Pedong block under Kalimpong district in West Bengal.

The only lake from where the reflection of Kanchanjangha is seen and it is a holy lake according to the local people. But We were very scared because there were so many leeches.
