Eden garden park is situated just behind the stadium. It is well decorated very nicely.

Lots of Flowers available here...which is also can be purchased. One can feel extremely refreshing and peaceful after entering into the lush green patches.

Perfect place to sit and relax & also recommend for couples.

Beautiful park maintained by urban recreation forestry division, forest department of West Bengal government. Situated just beside the Eden Gardens cricket stadium, nearest railway station Eden Gardens and bus stop Babughat. A must visit place for bird watching or nature lovers. There is a orchid house and a cactus house inside the park premises. Earlier there was no entry fee for the park, but now Rs.20 is charged as entry fee/conservancy charge. Also, for camera photography they charge Rs.80 per hour.

This is an totally unexplored and not so known park in kolkata.
7mins walk from eden garden station.
At the very foot step you put in the park, you will see the MAINTAINED GARDEN which looks way too beautiful.
Once you walk through the park a more, you will get too see the thai temple which has its own history and was brought here from Burma/Myanmar.
It's kind of unexpected to see something here in kolkata though it's not too big.
But this park needs public attention.
Entry fee 20 INR/ 0.26 $

Eclipsed by the world-famous cricket stadium next to it, Eden Gardens (Park) precedes it. Once built by the Britishers and named after the Eden sisters, it is still a beautifully maintained park. We crashed there in pouring rain, and our experience was ethereal.
There are boating facilities available here - paddle boats, mostly. The pagoda, the central attraction of the park stands out on it's own. Built in Burma and shipped in parts and re-assembled here in 1858, it still maintains it's vibrant colours and unique style.

The Eden Gardens Park in Kolkata is a beautiful and serene green space that is perfect for a peaceful escape from the bustling city. It features lush lawns, well-manicured gardens, and a stunning lake that provides a peaceful atmosphere for visitors to enjoy. The park is also home to several monuments and memorials that commemorate notable events and individuals in India's history. The park provides a perfect setting for picnics, relaxing walks, and other outdoor activities. It is also a popular destination for sports fans, as it is home to the Eden Gardens Cricket Stadium, one of the largest cricket grounds in the world. Overall, the Eden Gardens Park is a must-visit for anyone looking for a tranquil escape in the heart of Kolkata.

A good option to spend a winter afternoon with some greenery. This place has a potential attraction. A Pagoda was brought here during the Raj far from Burma or modern day Myanmar. It also houses a small cactus garden. There are boating options available here too in a roundabout pool.
