Jagat Mukherjee Park

While entering Jagat Mukherjee Park you can notice this library. It was previously a resting place and now a free of charge library. Kudos to it's creators. A very wonderful idea. Walk in the park, take some rest, seat here to read some pages, and make your day.

It's a very nice park and is located in Bagbazar area just a couple of minutes walking distance from Sovabazar Metro Station. The park is maintained by the Kolkata Municipal Corporation. Green trees is covered in around the park which is simply excellent. Inside the right side of the park, there is an excellent statue of Bishyashree Manotosh Roy may be seen.

Most underrated puja pandal of north Kolkata. Every year they make something phenomenal but still not as famous as Kumartoli/Ahiritola. Must visit place during durgapuja.

It's a must visit pandal in 2022 also.. The pandal is based on monsoon theme.. The beauty of the idol is praiseworthy.. 🙏🙏

The pandal is very well done with the umbrella outside and the sails of the boat inside and where the Tagore is, the decoration is done in a very beautiful way.

I visited this area during the pujo. Seriously spellbound by their concept and Ma Durga idol. The atmosphere was completely mesmerizing.

Fantastic park.... amazing Puja pandal.... must visit....
