This ghat is adjacent to Torsha River, there's present embankment and recently over the embankment pucca road has been done along through which plying of different types of conveyance was observed. It's fine.

It is located besides the Nitayanada Ashram in Cooch Behar & on the bank of the river Torsha.A bypass road was made by Govt. to overcome the traffic problem of the town alongside.It is also named as Niranjan ghat as it is used as bisarjan of the sculpture of goddess Durga (Hindu Goddess). A very good place for jogging & evening walk.

Such a peaceful place to spend 1 or 2 hours with your friends. But there is no such infrastructure available to sit/get shelter. Govt can construct small kind of river side view park there, which can be beneficial to all.

The natural beauty is great with ravishing kash flowers and alluvial river with the setting Sun at the background. But the presence of cars and bikes on the dry riverbed is an eyesore. Coochbehar people don't have the wisdom to enjoy the beauty in it's pure form. May be here, most of the people are poor, that few affluents have the tendency to show off their stingy pseudo-narcissism.

local dumping of rubbish on the roadside makes awful . Cleaning should b done by collecting all the unnecessary things like plastic etc from the bank of that river where the ghat is located .

It feels good to go there because the place is on the river bank and the view is very beautiful and I like it very much
