Greenery and natural beauty makes this place different. Being protected from reach of human beings, it's safe for the life of the migratory birds. Several years back, Saheb Bandh was not protected and people used it for fishing, swimming and hunting birds. Now it's safe from people and birds are growing again.

It is a very beautiful lake in purulia town but lacks maintenance. Water should be cleared regularly. The upper surface of the lake is covered by different aquatic plants.And the garbage should be cleared.

It is located south side means it's main gate or entry gate in South side. Very famous and too much big lake 'saheb bandh', which is attracted peoples of nearer district, not only west bengal, orissa, jharkhand, bihar also. The park is not too much big but it's location is amazing, very clean, couple friendly etc. This time huge birds are arriving here. Parking spaces are not available i mean safe parking which is under control by park authorities. Public park their vehicles on roadside. Every person entry money is fifteen rupees. Very amazing and wonderful place.lots of love.
