Deshapriya Park

Very big grass field which is well maintained by the park authority. Various types of free hand exercise equipments are available within the park premises. Walk Road is available all round the grass field and also nice shaded sitting arrangement at side of the ring road. Only disadvantage is no parking is available around the park.

It is very famous park. It is mainly famous for the Durga Puja Mandap. In Kolkata Deshopriyo park is one of the destination for Durga Puja pandle hopping. Here you see few sitting place. Very nice and clam. It is located near Kalighat and Gariahat. Here you can find many shops for eating and shopping.

Deshapriya Park is one of famous place in South Kolkata. Very famous Durga Puja held here . Also it has very big green field well maintained. It also have free hand exercise equipment. You can spend time here .

Clean and nice place with some equipments like gym is also open for normal people.
Here the PANDEL or decoration for Durga pujo is happening.

The structure they made was really looking realistic. Wonderful making. But the thing that attracted me was the maintenance system. You will enjoy fully even in high crowd.

The pandal was huge and resembled a palace. The durga pratima was very beautiful. It takes a while to reach the durga pandal from the main gate but once you reach inside its worth it.

We went there on the occasion of Durga Puja. It is a big play ground beside priya cinema hall.The theme is good this year.

One of the very unique ideas is to produce a sculpture of goddess in a very simple yet elegant manner .. this is wat this pandal has stick to this year in 2021 .. definately a must visit .. got very less rush as it was the third day of festival going on here.. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
