As the park is situated around 1.2 km away from the hustle and bustle of darjeeling mall, so the atmosphere here is very calm and peaceful. There are a lot variety of pretty colourful flowers. You can spend some quality time over there with your loved ones. On a bright sunny day Mt. Kanchenjungha could be seen from here too. Only one con is that, the park was not cleaned properly. There was fallen leaves all around. Otherwise it's perfect for a short visit.

Perched on top of a hillock, adjoining the Raj Bhavan complex, the Shrubbery Nightingale Park is a must visit if you love flowers.

A beautifully maintained park, with a restaurant and a greenhouse nursery, and wide open spaces lined by magnificent tall trees, the Shrubbery also happens to overlook the CM's bungalow.

Note: Do empty your bladders before taking time out here, cos unfortunately the toilets are not well maintained and it is not advisable to use them!

I just loved this place. I can just sit down for hours and watch the beauty of nature here. But there is one problem. Toilet is not in good condition. Authority don’t keep clean the toilet. Proper light source and water source is not present in the toilet. Toilet is very unhygienic, otherwise the place is very good.

A hidden gem of Darjeeling town. While most of the tourists rush for the Tiger hill or Rock garden , you can enjoy the best view of kanchenjungha right from here.A serene place beautifully curated with flowers and benches, have one restaurant and some nice viewing towers.
On Sundays , the restaurant and the viewing stations remain closed. It takes about 15 mins to walk from the mall towards the Governor House ,through the road ,behind the St. Andrews church .Timing 9Am-5pm and 4pm in Winter.

If you want to spend some quality time with loved ones you can visit this park. Near Chowrasta walkable distance. Lack of maintenance on the lower part of the park . Having an entry fee of 30 inr. Good place for children as well. A restaurant is also available here.

Peaceful, clean and beautiful park to relax with family and loved ones. Not a typical tourist spot, so here you will mostly find local people. Very well-maintained and clean park. On a clear day you will get a breath-taking view of the majestic Kanchanjangha.
