Sumitra Nandan Park or Hathi Park is situated opposite to the Allahabad Museum. The park attracts mainly the kids for it has a huge stone elephant as its main attraction. A huge gateway opens into the lush green park that also has a small zoo. It is well maintained and is adorned with a variety of flowers, shrubs and trees. It is even known as the Children’s Park of Allahabad. Minor entry fee is charged for the park too. There are also swings and small rides to lure the kids. Kiosks serving snacks, light refreshments and street food are also there inside the park.

This park is very good for children and the age of chid doesn't matter . This park also park is good for picnic. In this park there are some animal just like parrot swan guinea pig etc. Literally overall this park is good 😎😎😎

Sumitranandan Pant (20 May 1900- 28 December 1977) was an Indian poet. He was one of the most celebrated 20th century poets of the Hindi language and was known for romanticism in his poems which were inspired by nature, people and beauty within.

Pant died on 28 December 1977, at Allahabad (Prayagraj), Uttar Pradesh, India.

His childhood house in Kausani has been converted into a museum. This museum displays his daily use articles, drafts of his letters, his awards, books, stories etc. poems,

Nice park

This Park is also known as Hathi park. It is the most favourite parks of the children because of having elephant like unique sliding structure. I also have a lot of memories of this place ...... This was also mine favourite Park and used to be their with my parents to have some enjoyment during my childhood. It is a nice place for kids . It is a good and peaceful place. And it was also renovated now.
