Balkeshwar Park

The Oldest park in Balkeshwar.....
The area around it has it all to mouth watering foods, street stall, galli to Balkeshwar Bazar...
The best side of this park is South side, The south side has it all things and all kinds of shops at reasonable rates....... Stationery, Kids toys, Day to day things.....etc
On West side of this park you'll find sabzi Mandi or vegetable market which include every vegetable and all kinds of seasonal healthy fruits at reasonable rates......
On East side of this park you'll find medicine shops mostly, but it has confectionery shops also and other shops also etc....
On North side of this park you'll find house and Labour department Office......
People came here for walking, running all day...
People do yoga and meditation on morning....
Youngsters play kabbadi, Cricket, Gilli danda and all other sorts of games.......

great park for walking. centre to many houses. good place to hang out too

Good for morning walk only but not good for evening walk because very crowded market so have to much polution in evening. You can use this park as a playground any time.

Balkeshwar park is one of the famous park in the Balkeshwar and Kamla Nagar area. In area this is very big and they have the divided the whole park in 4 sub areas. In the middle of the park their is one fountain as well.

Best park in the world but after it's beautification many good functions are not taking place so sad

It's nice for playing cricket and all...
But it's very bad thing that after approx 12 p.m. a gardener comes in park and said that go out from park..
It's very dedicated thing for us..
I don't like it... For only this one reason..

The place is very well maintained with ample green spaces, sitting benches and dustbins all around the park. Additionally, the hedges are also very well maintained. Having said that, it is, unfortunately, surrounded by filth all around. The park is open from 5am till 10 am and then 4 pm till 8 pm. Otherwise, the place is locked and the entry is denied.
