This park is adjacent to the DAM and highway. Very nice place to enjoy some quiet time. But place is lack of development. NO good food or beverages. Though the place is clean but need improvement regarding the plant and beauty. Some good restaurants nearby could be a better feature for this place.

This dam is near to Villupuram. It was opened by Thiru.Kamarajar on 21-Mar-1958. Long Traveller's from Chennai towards South Tamil Nadu via Villupuram can take a break before vikravandi toll and enjoy the Green site at this small village. Take your own Foodies and water as you may not find much shops on the way. Good to visit Durning rainy season.

It would have been better park for children's to play.. my child is more enthusiastic on seeing this park from outside. But inside when she came disappointed.. People can take rest but not a good park for children to play..

A wonder ful place to have food if you bring it from home. 150 kms from chennai. On type way to madurai I park here to relax for some time and to have breakfast.
