Elithorai View Point

Come here when it's drizzling of when the clouds move in in the mid-day. The views are breathtaking. There's nothing to disturb Nature.

An off beat view point away from madness of crowd. Absolutely deserted, away from peanut sellers and petty vendors. Go if you are the peaceful types.

This is the great place to stay with your tent or we have camping organisers who can arrange you the same as per your requirements.

Sweet place to come and chill with family to take some wonderful photos! This is one of the sunset points in the Coonoor region which is Photographer's delight!!

Lovely road

But the map is showing wrong way

This location is on the way to Coonoor and is easier to access with a vehicle from Yedapalli Hatti. Take the road towards Siddhagiri Sai Dharmakshetra and take the right after the government hospital.
After walking about half a kilometer on a cement road, you will see a mud road going uphill. That's the way to the view point.
There is a lot of broken glass at the top, so I think guys go and drink there. Therefore, not very clean. You get a nice view of Bandumy and a huge mountain in the background. If you walk towards the cellphone towers on the top, you will reach a patch of grass with a shrine. That area is actually cleaner.
Can't really say if this is worth visiting. It might be just something to see if you are in the area and want to visit the Siddhagiri or Sadguru temples.
