One of the polluted water body inundated with Water Hyacinth , Algal blooms and Plastics. Being maintained by PWD for irrigation. Fish cultivation is being carried over in a larger scale. Flamingos used to arrive in large flocks. Excellent bird spotting place but nowadays birds arrival is in decline.
