Best place for morning walks and running but with the time its getting worst.... hopefully there would be something good in the forecoming time.... but for running and walking purpose its the best place... the museum inside it once used to be the center of attraction but now its influence has ended too

Public Park is also known as Umed Garden located High court Road Paota Sri Ganganagar Jodhpur Rajasthan. Park is very beautiful and largest in Rajasthan. Park under construction by Maharaja Umed Singh. Sardar Government Museum is situated in the Garden.

This is an ancient garden made in the time of old days. It has a zoo as well. Lord Shiva temple & Library are the other attraction one should also visit. There is some "Mela" on Sawan Somvars in this area. The Umed Garden is a huge garden and provides fresh air in the morning which can aide your walk. The garden is also has a good jogging area so good for young people as well.I had many walks through this park, it is a calm and quite place. There are some grassy areas where children play cricket, where people rest on the grass, some defunct fountains, the Sadar Government museum and to the north east a quite beautiful tree lined avenue.

A nice place to escape the hustle and bustle of central Jodhpur.

Entrance from the north is by a tree lined avenue at the top of the High Court area, entrance from the south is from High Court road, at the intersection near the high court. The gates from the park directly on to High Court road seemed to be locked.
