Better to come here before 7:30 AM in Summers, because of Nagpur's Scorching heat, and also you get to visit this in the golden hour, to get some beautiful pics.
As you can see, this place is truly photogenic, and attracts lots of morning-walkers.
It once boasted of a musical fountain, various electric rides, and amusement games.
Many a generations of children have spent their childhood memories here, a popular leisure place.
But now as the garden is closed for public due to complete makeover or renovation, all this have been discontinued. It used to be frequented by walkers in the morning and evening, but now the walkers prefer to walk on the adjoining lake.
The lake was built in the year 1870 to supply water to the city and it overflow is also famous during heavy rains. It was surrounded by mango trees, hence the name Ambazari as "Amba" means "mango" in Marathi.
