Amodagarh Picnic Point

This place is situated on Seoni-Mandla State Highway at Amodagarh where remains of SonaRani's Palace still can be seen. This place is 32 K.M. from Seoni and 10 K.M. from chhui. There are some beautiful place in the forest. It is believed that this place was the work Place of Jungle Book's little hero Mougli.

It's a beautiful natural place with rocks, water, hills but quite dangerous as well. Their is no cellular coverage and presence of wild animals and snakes. If you want adventure put on your boots, grab water bottle and go for it. It's 40KM from main city Seoni. Take your own food and please don't litter on place.

It is very nice picnic spot with clif , a forest water body , rocky and dense forest. The place is also called as Mowgli (Mugly as Mr. Crippling wanted it to pronounce) work place as per district authority of Seoni. The place is as per topography in Crippling Jungal Book.The other side of this forest is village Ugly.

Must visit if you are an adventure enthusiast and would love to explore natural places. This point is at the midst of the dark jungle near a deep-eddying river. Only few are aware to the fact that this is the real birth place of Mowgli "Main character of The jungle book".

A free advice (leave place before 5pm)

It's almost 10 km from chui town.I will advise people to be careful about time, try to reach here early and leave the place before 5pm maximum.
Their is nothing much dangerous, other than breakdown chances of your vehicle,anti social people, and appearance of wild animals.

The view at early morning is exceptional and mind blowing.
Keep some water and eatable with you as their nothing available on the radius of 10km .
Have a happy journey.

Great Experience. When you enter the hungle whole vibes feel like Bandhavgarh and then the river spot is amazing. The cliff view , Rocks and so much Heritations of Mother Nature.
