A story about one man’s vision and perseverance that led to the creation of the only manmade forest in Kerala of its size. We are talking about Mr Abdul Kareem (fondly called as Kareem Ikka) from the Puliyamkulam village near Parappa in Kasaragod who is the man behind Kareem Forest.

Kareem Forest today is one of the top attractions of Kasaragod for eco-friendly tourism

Forest is Very cool very calm and also very mysterious. But for most mysterious is that when I called one of the authority they said that I breath oxygen of amount 1000. I understood that they want that amount for taking o2 from there 🤨

I surely give a 5 star because Kareem's forest is the result of a one man army. While he reached this place ,it was a bare land with full of rocks.Then he started to sow some seed. Everyone thought he was mad. But after few years there the history germinated. Bare rocks enriched with greenery🌱🌱🍃. Water 💧level increased on the surrounding wells. So many birds 🐦 has shifted to this place.

Now Kareem's forest is famous even outside of India.
