Kowdenahalli Lake And Park

Good place for morning and evening walking or jogging
Lake is surrounded by plenty of plants and trees.
One round of walking takes round 1.5 kms.
In the morning you can view swans, ducks and other small birds
You can also listen to the chirping of the birds.
The lake has lot of small fishes and frogs.
You can also see small snakes creeping on the track which will not harm you.
The park has a small play area for children.
The park has 2 entry points one from ramamurthynagar side and another from the ITI gate side.
It is a well maintained park.
Park Timimgs -
Morning - 6.30 am to 9.30 am
Evening 4.30 pm to 7.00pm.

Kowdenahalli lake is a pretty decent lake with a good tree covered walkway (The walking track length around the lake is about 1.4km). The water quality looks pretty bad with large amounts of plastic waste seen in the lake. Birds that can be found here are Cormorants, Grey Heron, egrets, Drongo etc, large number of butterflies were also spotted.
The lake also has a large childrens play area with many slides.
Good place for a morning/evening walk.

Good place to spend time. There is a park inside for children. The sunset looks amazing over the lake. Less crowded than other lakes in Bengaluru.

Lady cops are there for security.
Cons:
less maintenance.
Bad smell

Nice park. Lot of trees fresh air.
Good part is - walk area is having mud instead of pavement tiles. we can walk on mudy surface.

On flip side , at times it is smelly because of drainage water and slippery when it rains.

Edit- changing from 5 to 3 stars. Because well, the guards on duty are useless. They can't open the park gate on time, most days they open the gate at 4:30pm even though timings are 4pm. Sad state of affairs, if they can't open a gate on time, not much else they can do, clearly! They've taken this job to sit around and chit chat apparently.

Such a beautiful, well maintained lake and park! Ideal for evening and morning walks, tons of beautiful trees, plants and flowers, alongwith birds here. Such a treat, fresh air, beautiful views, windy, a great visit!

Nice place for jogging, walking around the lake. Park is maintained very well. There are lot of benches to sit and view the lake. There is also place for kids to play which includes slides, swing and sea saw. 2 wheeler parking space is available. No place for car park.

Hidden Gem in RM Nagar just behind ITI layout. Very peaceful, decent crowd and lovely scenery. Perfect for morning walks and relaxing.
