Panchet Park

Panchet Dam, inaugurated in 1959by Jawhar Lal Neheru, is beneath the beauty of fresh nature. Garh Panchcote Hill behind the Dam is just awesome.

Side scene from this park is good...but in peak season this park become too much crowded. As i personally don't love too much crowded place i felt suffocated. And due to too much crowd it was dirty too... Generally gang of boys and girls goes there for picnic with music system to dance...i personally felt not a family place..if you want to go with your friends to party and dance then it's good.. that's from one time experience...if go there in near future..and get any different experience i will share to....too know more in detail you can contact me on Facebook @ abhilash marik

Panchet Dam was the last of the four multi-purpose dams included in the first phase of the Damodar Valley Corporation. It was constructed across the Damodar River at Panchet in Dhanbad district in the Indian state of Jharkhand, and opened in 1959

It is a very long dam. There is always a mild breeze. Visit the place and feel pure air.
