Punit Van

This is a wonderful alternative to have your morning walks. The park is currently being renovated and will be great once completed. It has walkways around the entire length and breadth of the park for those who are looking for some peace and quiet while inside the city.
The park is full of birds, especially peafowl - both peacocks and peahens, many different species of small birds, and also the Hanuman langur.

The best go to place in scorching summers of Gandhinagar. The place is well designed on the Indian theme of Astrology and has numerous species of flora or plants. The garden also has more than a dozen of peacocks, pehens and wild rabbits. Not yo leave behind the bnad of langurs that come and go on their own will. Best place to do morning or evening walks, yoga, jogging, bird watching, picnics with friends and family.

It's situated on road no.4b. where some class A officer bunglows are there. Very neat and clean place. Drinking water and toilet also available under Punit van. Best place for morning and evng walkers. And suryajot lake and Punit van both are like lungs for this area. And i wish I could settle there for whole life. Sector 19 PPL are so lucky. I went to Gandhi nagar just for visiting purpose..and stay 3-4 days. And every days i visit sec-19, their bunglows, and Punit van. Small pond is there in this van and u can see so many peacocks while dancing here. Sec-19 pics are also included in This.

Great place for everyday walking/jogging in the peace of nature and greenery.
It has play area for children. It has lush green trees, plants and flowering plants. There is a beautiful lake, an open air theatre, fountain area, sitting areas sheds and a great vibe of peace with lovely birds chirping. You can find lots of different flowering plants and lots of peacocks, cranes, sparrows, parrots, and so many other birds.

I felt that the maintenance can be improved a little bit more.

Great place for walking, relaxing and outstanding place for photography. Lots of birds. Patience and perseverance will get you some good shots.

Place is full of peace and love. You can literally your spend your whole day in this without get boring. There's so many peacocks, trees, different types of butterflies, different flowers and lake full of lotuses. Definitely one of the best garden in Gandhinagar.

Amazing calm place for refreshment at any time of day. Best in the evening when a bit less crowded. Morning is packed with health conscious citizens of Gandhinagar.

Good place to visit with family and friends. Useful for joggers and people going for morning or evening walks. Beautiful greenery. Benches also for sitting. Peacefull environment gives you opportunity to enjoy nature closely. Varierty of bird species good for birding photography.
