Lately came to know about this park.
Since there is nothing in Eluru I think this park will suffice the joy missing.
Specially enjoyed boating.
Cheap but good.
In the olden days the town "Eluru" was called "Helapuri". During the Chalukya Dynasty about AD1100 the Capital was Helapuri I.e Eluru.
The Elephants of the King were allowed to drink water in this Tank . Perhaps the Tank named after "GAJA VALLI" (Row of Elephants)
It's a nice park having a single walk way all around for walking and jogging.
Due to small area the park can not be further developed.
The immediate vicinities are not neatly maintained.
Inside park the lake is full of fish, turtles, goose and watching the waters is pleasant.
One movie theater is exists nearby.
Kids can be brought to the park in the evening for a few hours nice spending.
Inside one canteen is there for snacks and cool drinks.
Boat rides are good and they charge Rs. 30/- per person for 15min. 2-seater and 4-seaters boats are available.
