There is also a Mar Gregorios Orthodox Christian Student Movement (MGOCSM) Student centre functioning here. This center works for the spiritual and overall development of all the students especially those who are away from their homes for academic purposes.

It is one of the oldest church and is the church I'm going since the start of my engineering in manipal. Always feel blessed after going there and is very calm and peaceful giving a spiritual and positive vibe.

St. Thomas Orthodox (Malankara Orthodox Syrian) church serves to cater the spiritual needs of many students who are studying in and around manipal. The priests who are serving here are very much helpful to give spiritual assistance, esp, to the youth who are away from home. Rev. Fr. Sijin deserves special appreciation for his selfless service here.
