The IGNOU Regional Centre, Shillong is built with an infrastructure not to be seen in any of its centres. The Centre inside the campus of North Eastern Hill University provides courses in Distance modes. Check the university website for all the available courses.

The regional centre of IGNOU is located in a great picturesque location just inside the beautiful NEHU campus. Though a little far away from the heart of the city. Conveyance is easily available from Polo Bazar and Police Bazar as well. It has an effective and efficient work force. The staffs are well behaved, polite and helpful. Also there is wheelchair accessible entrance and parking.

Located very far from the Nehu main entrance gate no.1 . Campus is next after Sports authority of India (SAI). From main entrance gate no.1 it's a walking distance of more then half an hour till campus. Car / bike saves the time & energy.

Sir, I have registered myself in this University in the year 2018, month of July and till date I have not received any books with regards to my course. How can we complete our assignment without any references or how are we going to pass our exams.

Pathetic office staff. They do not answer your call at all. What is the use of providing a phone number when you do not answer. All local staffs there are rude and lazy.

Its too far ,so it should have local taxi to reach in every department as it's a large areas,indeed a good experience but need companion to complete the work in a day

Due to the current COVID situation....and sops to follow...wasn't possible to take pictures of the inside of the regional centre. However, the centre is very nice, though campus could be cleaner...most important is that the staff are very nice and helpful.
