Eastern Range, Kaziranga

This range is very scenic and really wild. twice went on jeep safaris. You will see a lot of waterbirds and migratory ones.
Elephants, Water baffallos and Rinos are common and you will surely see them in their natural habitats
The view of the lake with animals and birds in it are breathtaking!

Personally, it's my favorite range among the all four ranges of Kaziranga National Park. It's real off the beaten and have less tourist flow which makes it easier to contemplate the wilderness in a best possible way. It is a paradise for birders and you have higher chances of sighting a Tiger from this range. Make sure you pay a visit here after visit Bagori it Kohora Range to feel the difference. The largest freshwater lake of Kaziranga is also lies in this range which attracts hoardes of seasonal and migratory birds during the winter time.

This place is one of the most famous for birds. If someone visits this place with patience one can see a variety of birds both rare and unique. We were lucky to spot a changeable hawk eagle, a brown owl, plenty of vultures and water birds. Animals like deers and water buffalo are in plenty and the calm serene atmosphere helps us to soak in the jungle atmosphere. There are watch towers at intervals which can be used to admire the landscape!!

Range has more diversity with greater density of birds like BLACK neck stork, pelicans, owls, vultures e5c

Superb place for wild safari. Varieties of birds are seen and the one horned Rhino, Elephants, Monkeys are also there.

We have done zip safari on all three locations of Kaziranga but I think "Eastern/Agorayoli" is the best among all..... really enjoyed a lot, the jungle throughout the safari is dense with big trees........view is mesmerizing...... people normally doesn't go there that's why u can feel a very silent deep forest safari experience there.....i really loved it and recomend everyone to have vist there.....

The Eastern range is known for birds.. There are about 556 different types of birds found here.. The river Brahmaputra meanders through this section of Kaziranga national park. We saw rhinos, wild buffaloes, elephants, migratory birds, hog deer.
