Pillamari Museum

While it was friday, it was closed at the gate but one can watch the Idols/Statues without going inside.

Seems a good collection of idols.

It is located just before the left side of famous Pillalamarri Banyan Tree. Has a huge collection of idols inside. All the idols are made of mud and are maintained. Some of the idols broke partly but maximum are in good condition.
One who wants to visit this museum has to park the vehicle in the parking lot which is on the left side just before the museum. Car Parking is for ₹20/- and Bike Parking is for ₹10/-. And also purchase the entry fee of ₹10/- for adults and ₹5/- for children's.
Has a Huge Parking Space. And even parking lot has beautiful sceneries.

Not enough facilities from the Telangana tourism department for the tourists. Such a historical place and its unfortunate that this is not being promoted appropriately. There is hardly any facility to get proper food nearby, hence it is suggested the tourists pack their own food before starting to this place.

This is very good but treatment is going on

Good collection of statues and other artefacts in the Museum. After visiting the famous pillalamarri banyan tree, one can have a look and spend an hour or so in the Museum.

Not bad for science museum.Sir well explained those things.

I have visited on Friday and is is closed as weekly off. Please plan accordingly.
