Private property. But Well maintained.More than government museum.
Lot of wax dolls of world wide celebrities .
Must visit place for children.
The wax dolls are worth seeing. High quality . Looks like original persons.
The place is very small, so little congested . More than 20 persons can not enter at a time. Small patches of people at a time entering the museum is best.

Tiny museum for cartoons and culturals.

There are different entry tickets for cartoon and culturals.

All the cartoon characters are looks very real and awesome.

Could spend time here maximum half an hour.

Not suitable for old aged people.

Entry to this locations it's very slippery and slope.

Parking facility not available, we need to park the vehicles on roadside itself dangerous to leave the children's alone..

Wax museum has some of the famous personalities and main occurrences in history (Mahatma Gandhi, Krishna Rada, Last supper,..). But not many are there. The workmanship is good. (Pls don't compare with another abroad wax museum). They've cartoon section also which is very small and that is not wax. Both sections are 40rs each. Can visit once.

We enjoyed a lot. But why Kodaikanal tourism has not included it in their list of tourist spots? Also it is not at all well maintained. It is such a good museum but Indian govt not at all aware of it.

Wax Museum, Kodaikanal

Kodaikanal is one of the most popular summer destinations of India. Thousands and thousands of travelers visit this popular hill station named as 'Princess of hill stations'. It is located near Dindigul in Tamil Nadu state of India. After Ooty, it is the most visited hill resorts in Tamil Nadu. There are many interesting tourist attractions in Kodaikanal. Wax Museum, which is located near Green Valley, is a latest addition to the tourist attractions in Kodaikanal.

The wax museums are rarely found in India. It might be very common in the foreign countries. However, it might take time for wax museums to be established in India. Hence, this wax museum in Kodaikanal is a unique attraction for Indians.
