The antique stone sculptures which are kept in open ground can be either protected under a roof or can given aesthetic look by keeping in a well maintained garden.

The art gallery located in the 1st floor is poor, very few collection.

Can have a leisure time with history .

I wanna say that no one should visit this museum. First they said only the entree fees is 5 rs per head for college student and we can take photos after entering into the museum they ask us to pay 2000 rs to take photos.there is nothing there to see don't waste time guys

It was a good place to visit ... It holds a lot of antiquities collected from the regions surrounding salem... It has olden days coins collection , stamps collection , coral collection , painting collection etc...
