District Collectorate Museum

In Tanjavur district collectrate office nearby big temple.... Busy road... Appearance is so good... It's old one building in Tanjavur...

In pathetic Condition. INTACH should try to save this buld. from further damage.

Actually the museum is not good maintained. Especially for people who don't speak Tamil it's not really worth it to see it, cause almost everything is in Tamil. Didnt stay long, couldn't really learn something

No maintenance.. And it's not in proper condition need to maintain well.. For Good Experience.

It wasn't properly maintained by government nowadays! Poor maintenance! Just try to reconserve!

At the moment not a lively place. Building needs renovation due to its heritage value. Plenty of Scope for a wonderful exhibition space with lighting and ambience as in egmore museum, Chennai. Nice collections are there. Enough space in the front for landscaping and parkings.

* Every details of Tanjore(chozha desam) was displayed in a spectacular way🤩🤩
* Art, Sculptures, Antique items, Tanjore Paintings, Music instruments, Cultural art form models etc where just stealing our eyes🎶🪘🎻🥁
* The museum has become the place which reflects the richness of Tanjore then and now❤️✨
* Ticket rate Rs.20/- for adults Rs.10/- for children.
* 7D theatre(Rs.75/-) and Bird garden(Rs.200/-) has separate tickets.
* Visit in a Day-time for better exposure.

Must visit for everyone..
