A massive buildings near Madurai Law college was established in March 1,2016.It is called as Ulaga Tamizh Sangam. It's a spacious area with parking facilities. It is also a center for research in Tamizh language. Now here the excavation products of keeladi and other archeological sites have been show cased here.

It is a very imposing building near Gandhi Memorial . Often programmes are arranged and many tamil scholars are invited to deliver lectures. There is a beautiful modern A/C auditorium and currently a week-long programmes for youth are being organised. Promoting tamil language which is very ancient and contains rich literatures is the main purpose for the construction of this monumental building. Now a Museum exhibiting the antiquities, pots, ornaments etc excavated from Keezhali near Madurai have been put up for the public. There is a virtual reality room and the experience is awesome.

Nice museum for Tamil literature and ancient Tamil civilization of Keezhadi. It has wide display and details of ancient Tamil civilization and artifacts/articles of 3000 years old, used by ancient people.

Great place but surprising to see the time taken by government to execute much needed project. It was initiated by chief minister M G Ramachandr an on 14/4/1986 and was dedicated to society on 01/03/2016 by then chief minister Jayalalitha mam. It's a huge area around 2 Acres. This project is dedicated for doing research projects on Tamil language but the research output should be published to public. Currently only keeladi excavation artifacts display area alone open for public.happy to see the infrastructure dedicated for ulagha muthanmai mozhli engal Tamil 😍

I heard it's a new building. I am not sure how the old building was. But this place is pretty huge. In first floor, they have a exhibition of things that are excavated from Keezhadi Archaeological Site. No crowd. No entry fees and parking is free. There are timing restrictions though. Around 6.45 PM, they close the exhibition. I think they could have open till 9 pm so that people who come after work can visit this place. Inside this building, there is a library. Only Tamil books are available. No lending procedure, you can just read the books and magazines.

Here you need to enter your name three times in different entry books. In all the books, they advise you to write your name in Tamil which I think is a good initiative.

Very spacious. Grand auditorium. Meeting halls. Exhibition places. Good administration. Accumulating Tamil Sangams from all over the World. 😊📚🎙️💙

Very Good effort taken. Great structure. But all goes vain. Need to display Tamil culture and traditions.
