Karmarkar Museum of Sculpture

This place gives you a glimpse of the talent that Padamshree Karmarkar was. It's a beautiful house with old world charm.

Ticket Rs 10. A small hall with approx 50 statues made very beautifully. 30 mins are enough to see. No dedicated parking but roadside parking is easy.

This museum is a treat to watch for art lovers. Some of the sculptures are in amazing condition till date. Must visit if you make scriptures, it'll be good learning experience. Entry fees 10 INR

All sculptures are maintained very well, with detailed information provided for most of them.

Visiting Alibag is not just about the beaches. It is about art and the people who sculpted it also. Must visit place. Their family still lives there and is doing a good work by maintaining works of Mr. Karmarkar by only taking a fee of ₹10 from per visitors.

Beautiful sculptures. All sculptures are well maintained.. information related to the sculpture is written over there. Must go with kids & family.. sculptures are well organized. Cleanliness is maintained. Go there with private vehicle so that there will be no need to wait for auto. Otherwise it takes time to go to the main road by walking. Roads are bit confusing but people over there are helpful.

Small museum in the original rustic residence of the sculptor. The sculptures on display are no less than international classics from the West.
